![]() ![]() This might have been acceptable had it not been for the poor connection and erratic breakup of the sound. I could overcome this by removing the speaker from the PC config and re-connecting it. When I disconnected (switched off) my speaker and switched it on again, the adapter would not re-connect. The signal was intermittent and kept breaking up, even though my speaker was less than two meters from my PC. However after a little exploring this was achieved and my speaker recognised the device immediately. I had no problem installing this though pairing the device with my BT speaker was not intuitive. I give 2 stars because it's not a complete waste of money it's OK if it's paired with 1 thing and left alone, but I would not recommend it. Perhaps the battery Bluetooth adapters or external unit plugged into the wall will give the desired results but unfortunately this will not. It might be the case that it is under powered. I wanted to keep the wires down, but for this much money you are better off getting a male to female AUX cable that is a bit longer than usual. I live with my parents so it is speakers during the day, headphones at night. Like other reviewers point out, this problem does not exist on the smartphone, connection is seamless and can switch between speakers and headphones with relative ease, the same cannot be done here. This is a rare occurrence but is worth mentioning that it's not totally reliable. While it does work, I can confirm that it does work, there is occasional stuttering with no objects blocking the connection and i'm about 3 meters away because i use my PC on Tv screen on one end of the bed and me at the other. When connection is lost it's difficult to re establish, without a restart. ![]() What I think it's meant for is you sitting at a desk with just the headphones/earphones paired and that's it. Between TRYING to switch the Bluetooth connection it gets stuck even trying to remove the Asus from PC formally through control panel. ![]() If you shut down then reboot your PC it doesn't work when left in, it's best to take it out before shutting down. Does the job for just 1 device, if you want to switch device it just comes up with errors, you have to take the Asus out and pair up again every single time. ![]()
